IMPORTANCE OF SOFT SKILLS
Soft skills are non-technical skills that describe how you work and interact with others. Soft skills are character traits and interpersonal skills that support the pursuit of personal and organizational goals. Soft skills pertain to behavior and thinking, helping individuals navigate social complexities and contributing to organizational success. Strong soft skills foster a productive and healthy work environment, vital for any organization. They also promote personal growth, enabling effective communication, relationship building, and sound decision-making. By prioritizing soft skill development, both individuals and organizations can enhance collaboration, innovation, and overall success in an increasingly competitive world.
Soft skills are important because they can help you work with others, advance your career, and improve your personal life. Some examples of soft skills include adaptability, leadership, problem-solving, teamwork, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and creativity. Soft skills can also help you gain confidence, which is an invaluable trait in the business world.
Adaptability – being flexible and open to new things, like a new project, role, or environment
Leadership – the ability to motivate and inspire teams, provide clear direction, and manage clients
Problem Solving – the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions
Teamwork – the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with others to build and maintain effective teams
Emotional Intelligence – the ability to recognize situations that require caution and take the appropriate action
Critical Thinking – the ability to access situations, identify issues, and devise effective solutions
Creativity – the ability to think strategically and apply creative concepts and ideas to accomplish goals
Soft skills are still important because computers are very poor at simulating human interaction. Therefore, individuals should still look to improve their soft skills through activities such as volunteering, leading a team, or even working on an open-source project with other people. Soft skills are used in different fields such as business and management, healthcare and social sciences, education and teaching, and technology and engineering.
The following are the ways to develop or improve soft skills for both personal and professional growth:
Start with self-assessing your strengths and areas for improvement.
Seek feedback from colleagues, supervisors, and mentors to gain diverse perspectives on your soft skills.
Use self-assessment quizzes and performance review tools to measure the progress and pinpoint specific skills to focus on.
Enroll in training programs and workshops focusing on soft skill development by your organizations.
Enroll in online platforms providing flexible options for learning and certification. Incorporate soft skill practices into your daily life.
Practice active listening during conversations and respond attentively.
Set personal goals to improve your public speaking by presenting in meetings.
Reflect on your interactions seek continuous improvement through consistent practice and apply new techniques.
Employers recognize that technical know-how is just one piece of the puzzle in today's job market. As the job market evolves, the importance of soft skills remains a defining factor, influencing hiring decisions and shaping the fabric of successful, cohesive teams. The value of soft skills has grown as companies seek professionals who can thrive in collaborative work environments.

3 best methods for enhancing Soft skills
Although getting a degree or learning a skill is important, it rarely guarantees long-term success. You also need to acquire soft skills if you want to succeed in the long run in the modern workplace.
If you want to increase your overall performance in life and work, developing soft skills is a worthwhile goal. You can hone your soft skills in the 3 ways we've listed here. However, let's first discuss what soft talents are and why you need them.
What are softskills?
The abilities you have, that go beyond your technical, quantifiable capabilities are known as soft skills. Your social, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are more heavily emphasised on soft skills. Soft skills can still be developed, despite the fact that they are more personality-based. Due to the fact that they are required in every industry at every level, they may be properly classified as transferable professional abilities.
You must first grasp what soft skills are if you want to improve them at work. Here are the top 3 soft talents that any professional should possess.
Effective Communication
All people can benefit from having good communication skills. Even if your roles and responsibilities don't call for the help of others, take advantage of the chance you have to build relationships with the people in your environment. Communication is the key to enhancing soft skills, according to this advice. Examples of this include group presentations, email, and face-to-face interactions. To develop your communication soft skills, you must communicate in a variety of methods because nearly every mode of communication is unique.
Team work
In order to learn how to develop soft skills, try to show that you're exceptional at coordinating with people when you're working in a group. Teamwork can be done one-on-one to complete a task or in a group setting for a presentation. Give everyone in the group the opportunity to contribute to a project, assign them their fair share of daily duties, and acknowledge the variety of talents and personalities in the group. When you place a high value on teamwork, you create opportunities for yourself to learn from others while also boosting your own capabilities and understanding of how to develop soft skills.
Be ready to accept all forms of feedback
Being receptive to criticism that you may receive from managers, co-workers, and even your superiors is a key component of developing your soft skills. When you're receptive to criticism, you may be better able to take it on board and use it to your work—including developing your soft skills—to advance your position. Feedback could be given on your leadership potential, time management, group-working abilities, communication skills, and more. When you get feedback, don’t forget to say "thank you" to the giver and come up with a strategy to improve and learn, either by yourself or in conversation with a manager.

FULL STORY=> https://ift.tt/3HIKdyT Do you remember the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel, the couple of children who left a trail of crumbs to be able to return home? Well, exactly the same thing happens to us when we interact with Internet content, we leave a trail of “electronic crumbs” that other people will be able to know and use. Participants in online programs also leave this trail which becomes part of "Learning Analytics" or information about a person's learning process. Now, that information can remain there in cyberspace, or we can use it to adjust the learning processes and make it increasingly efficient and effective. Do you use learning analytics to improve your programs? Hey people, What is that which makes us differnt from others in an interview? What is the thing that interviewer will consider while we go for an interview ?... One of the component which make you differ from others are skills ."No two chefs dishes taste the same." Similarly , soft skills differ form person to person . It might be different in case of technical skills. Soft skills are also interpersonal skills that shows how a person interact with others and how will he/she analyse the situation. These skills make it easier to form relationships with people, create trust and dependability, and lead teams. Often these skills are undervalued, people may be concentrating more on coding rather than on how to behave on job, which is more important . Even if you excel in coding and have no soft skills no organisation will hire you. By developing strong leadership, delegation, teamwork, and communication abilities, you can run projects more smoothly, deliver results that please everyone, and even positively influence your personal life by improving how you interact with others.it helps you to develop more relationships personally and professionally. They are essential for your success in the workplace, your company’s success and your personal life. what i learned in 2019
so these things are the summary of what i learned
these 3 months, i pay attention more on myself, physically and mentally.
i pay a lot of attention to the meals i take. i limit my sugar intake. it’s not easy i swear. i could live my life without coffee, indomie and junkfood but never boba and sweet cakes. i love them so damn much but i know i should limit myself from taking them. huhu ganbatte dear me. I get myself a bottle with ML markings so I know if I had already drunk enough water in a day. i work out at least 2 times in a week. work out take a big big role in reducing stress and sadness. i can sleep well and endorphin is somehow released. i always feel happy after doing it and look forward to the days the class is available. i do enjoy cardio dance recently but will happily try new exercise like poundfit, piloxing, zumba and muaythai. i thank Him for placing me in this office which is near the sport center. excercise is the best long term investment someone can have to their soul and body, especially for this sad girl.
for my soul health, exercise helps me a lot in reducing stress and help me relax. i limit myself from opening instagram, if i want to post something i will, but i dont see other people's story so often. i pollute in twitter and it feels much better than instagram. I buy myself books so i dont always look at my phone. I appreciate myself more. I give wider definition of achievement. when i was in school and collage, achievement can be my grades, throphies, or strategic position in organisation. now i redifine what achievement is. that when i grow a new good habit I am doing a good job. i appreciate myself for sleeping early and wake up early, I appreciate myself for making and eating healthy meals, I appreciate myself for drinking enough water, I appreciate myself for improving the quality and quantity for praying, I appreciate myself for exercising regularly, I appreciate myself for keeping my room and laundry clean and tidy. I appreciate every good habit i constantly. I know every good things take time. I know that small good things matter. I know I'm making progress everyday and I'm feeling good about myself.
i'm happy to be in my office now, it's very unique, everyday is unpredictable. I can serve numerous types of taxpayers. they can be really cooperative, kind, and smart but i can find them as amateurs or uncooperative as well. I'm grateful that this is my chance to learn a lot new things for hardskill and softskill. the softskill somehow reshape the way i communicate on my daily life wkwk. besides learning about all taxes, i become aware on how to be calm and say good words and tone even when i'm in an unpleasant situation. I love myself for saying good words. I love that my office is full of young people. my colleagues are very kind. my boss has young soul and she is like a mother to her staffs. I love dream corner in it. Blessing comes in so many ways.
for the heart break, i'm sorry for everything i made that hurt you and i have forgiven the wound you give me. there are a lot of things i wanna tell but since you dont give me another chance, i will just keep it. Sometimes i think how do I allow the sun to rise on me and set on me without feeling like each day is a lifetime to get through? How do I spend the seconds, minutes, and hours? You've been my best friend for a long time and now I should face everyday without your support. But dont worry, I'm making progress everyday to forget you even it's not easy. I keep myself busy, I stop opening your socmed to know how you're doing, I restrain myself for disturbing you. I will not force anything ever again.
2019 tell me that it's okay to be not okay. Najwa Zebian tell me that when pain knocks on my door, let it in. If I dont, it will keep knocking. So I should let it in. I have to understand why it hurts so much. So I should treat it as a visitor. "You're welcome in, but you're not welcome to stay. You're welcome to have a tea with me. We'll talk about it and then you leave." Then I'll have another visitor, happiness.
My dear self thankyou for doing your best to go through this year.
2020, I will attend my very first MUN, i'm very excited and hope it goes well. I hope I'm accepted in internal selection and compete in icca 2020. I hope I can go abroad this year. I hope to see Tulus Concert again. I will start preparing d4 test and work hard for it. I hope to improve quality and quantity of praying and religious knowledge. I hope I can maintain and add more positive things to fill each day in 2020. I hope I can learn new things. Bismillah ya Allah.

What is the difference between SMA and Kuliah? Apa yang berubah dari saya?
The different between SMA dan kuliah, interesting!! Actually I guess ga banyak berubah dari seorang Nabila.
